Easter Sunday

Jack is asking some amazing questions these days about Christ and about the nature of His sacrifice.... it's incredible to know that he is beginning to comprehend what his savior did for him and that he always wants to learn more. We actually got to begin Easter this year at church! Usually travel makes it hard to attend the Sunday service, but we all got up early and made it to the chapel. Jack wanted to be in big church for Easter, and he did awesome! He sang when it was time to sing and he was quiet and still during the sermon. We knew Easter was going to be a miraculous day.

After church, it was off to rainy Tulsa for an indoor Easter extravaganza! Jack's cousins came, so it was all the more fun.

Easter- Long Overdue!!

I've been so busy lately and have totally neglected my blog! Easter weekend was fabulous, other than the fact that Jack was a bit under the weather. On Saturday morning we went over to my parent's house where Jack got his Easter baskets from Mom and Dad and Bebe and Grandad and of course we did a little egg hunt.

That afternoon we headed to Mumo and Papo's house for another egg hunt. This time there were tons of eggs and some even had money inside, which Jack loved! I'll have to get him a piggy bank!

On Sunday we headed to Tulsa to spend the day with Randy's family. Jack loved playing with cousins Parker and Ty and of course Gigi and Papa. He fell in love with his new bunny rabbit right away and we participated in yet another egg hunt! It was raining so this one was moved inside but it was a blast anyway. Jack even won some prizes!

All in all, a great weekend. My only complaint is that I had to miss church on Friday night due to Jack being sick.

Christmas Eve at Gigi and Papa's

We spent the day before Christmas with Randy's side of the family in Tulsa. Jack just loves going to Gigi and Papa's house and had a great time opening presents and playing! He did however seem more interested in paper and his old toys than the new ones at first, but later he was very excited about everything, especially his bowling set, play dough, and his remote control train. Randy and I were spoiled too! My favorite gift is the Women of Faith study Bible and Randy was definitely grateful for all the tools.

Granny and Grandpa's Visit

Grandpa and Granny B. made the trip down the turnpike last weekend to see our new house and of course to play with Jack. Jack had a great day and enjoyed showing off his toys and his room. We had a blast! Here are some pics:
