NFL Sunday

Every Sunday, Randy and I race to Jack's closet to get him dressed in his NFL football gear. The reason we have to race? Because Randy thinks Jack should wear some weird black and yellow number while I feel that he should be decked out in Packer gear. See how cute he is as a baby cheesehead?! What a Mama's Boy! Go Pack!

We have a tooth!!

Finally! Yesterday I felt the sharp tip of Jack's first tooth. Apparently he felt the sharp tip also because he had just a horrible night Thursday night and day on Friday. Luckily, last night was a little better and today has been great so far. He's just in the best mood now that it's over. Well, for now anyway. One down, nineteen to go!

Play Date

Last Friday I baby-sat the little boy of a friend of mine. Maxton is almost exactly the same age as Jack so it was really fun to see how they interacted. They really played well together! Max is really crawling fast, which fascinated Jack, and they both like to pull up on things so that they are standing up. It was really fun! Most of our friends don't have any children yet so Maxton is a really great playmate for Jack.

7 Months???!!!

We can't believe that tomorrow Jack turns 7 months old! He is just growing so fast. A couple of days ago, Randy went to get Jack after his nap and when he walked in, this is what he saw:

That's right, Jack is pulling up! We really can't believe it. Here are some more pictures:

So now all he wants to do is army crawl around the room and then stand up when he gets to his destination. It's already so hard to keep up with him, we can't imagine what it will be like when he's actually crawling!

Jack recently got his new big boy car seat, since he's outgrown the infant seat that was supposed to last nearly a year! He is just such a big boy. He is much more comfortable in his new Britax Boulevard and now enjoys riding in the car and even falls asleep sometimes, which is a miracle!

Today we tried to give Jack another fruit- prunes. Again, he hated them! He hates apples, pears, peaches, bananas, and prunes so far- his little face just contorts, then he grimaces, and then he gags. How could anyone hate fruit so much? Anyway, his favorite food of all is peas. He also likes rice cereal but nothing beats a good jar of peas!

Baby Sooner

Well, Jack watched his first OU football game on Saturday. He was so excited and decked out in his favorite Sooner wear, complete with an OU rattle. He really did cheer hard! Here are some pics.
