Jack and Sally

Here is a video of Jack putting his kitty cat, Sally, to sleep for a nap. In the second video, he goes to wake her up and then they cuddle on the couch for a minute. This is the same routine that he and I have for his nap. :)

My Heart

Graham is now two months old! I already can't believe how fast he's growing. Knowing this MAY be my last baby, each week that goes by, I think, "I may never have a one week old (two week old, etc.) again..." It's just amazing how quickly they grow and change.

Graham visited Dr. Albiek this morning for his well check. The doctor was impressed with his eye contact, head control, and fat rolls. Who wouldn't be?! He weighed in at 13 pounds, 1 ounce (90%) and measured 23 1/4 inches (50%). After my tall and skinny Jack, I was surprised that Graham is shorter and, er, fuller. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised though, knowing how much he loves to eat and sleep!

Graham did have to get two shots and they are not treating him well. The poor thing has had a couple screaming fits today, which are unlike him. I was rocking him earlier and while he was sleeping, he was just whimpering. He looked so pitiful. As I was holding him and gazing at him, the thought crossed my mind, "this is the first of many hurts that I will have to watch my little guy experience in this life." My heart just aches thinking about him having to go through any kind of pain. Oh, how much I love my sweet baby!

I'm reminded of this quote by Elizabeth Stone that I came across when Jack was a baby: “Making the decision to have a child - It's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.”

Here are a few pictures of my heart (one of them):

Spring is Coming!

Oh my goodness, it is finally warming up out there and showing signs of spring!! The stay at home moms of the world are rejoicing!! It's been a long winter couped up in the house with these kiddos. We've been taking advantage of every opportunity to be outside the past week or so and can't wait for it to be consistently warm and sunny outside.

Graham had his ears rechecked on Wednesday and they looked great! We are so happy that our little guy is finally feeling well! I can finally take a deep breath and just enjoy my boys. Here are some recent pics of my sweet guys:
