Then today we spent the day with family swimming and eating! Papo made his famous homemade ice cream which was a huge hit with the boys. After last night, they all crashed right at bedtime tonight so hopefully we can recover from the excitement by tomorrow!

4th of July
We had a wonderful 4th! Although Reid had been very ill the past week, he was feeling better just in time. We are so glad he is himself again and that everyone was able to enjoy the holiday. We started our celebration on the 3rd with our second annual night before the 4th fireworks show in Yukon with the Robertis! This year we brought the Plangmans along with us which made for quite a crew of kids! We left Reid at my parents' house so there were 8 kids this year, including Ingrid's nephew who is visiting from Mexico. They all had a blast blowing bubbles, playing ladders, running up the big hill, playing with glow necklaces, eating snacks, etc. while waiting for the big show at 10pm. Graham was pretty amazed by the fireworks, I couldn't tell that he remembered them from last year. Jack, the chatterbox, talked the entire time explaining to us how fireworks work, etc. He is such a know it all but in a cute way! Unfortunately, Reid was not sleeping well at my parents' so afterward, we had to run by and pick him up. However, he fell asleep in the car and so did the big boys. It was quite a sight! We carried all three in to bed at midnight and they slept in their clothes. :)
