Baby on the Way
Randy, Jack, and I are excited to announce that we're expecting Baby Biggs on January 14, 2010. We are so very excited to have gotten pregnant again so quickly after the miscarriage, but having said that, we have been understandably more anxious this time around. Most of my nerves were calmed by seeing my precious little peanut and its very strong heartbeat by ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks. I'm 8 weeks today which is a great milestone!
So far, this pregnancy has been very similar to my first. The nausea kicked in right around 6 weeks and it has only gotten worse since then. I try not to complain too much, because morning sickness is a great sign of a healthy pregnancy. But I am certainly very grateful for the Zofran my doctor prescribed, which allows me to function and be a better mommy to Jack. If its like my pregnancy with Jack, I still have a long 7-8 weeks of nausea ahead of me...
While I'm sure Jack really doesn't have much of a clue what's going on, he does know that there is a baby in Mommy's tummy and he is already wanting to love the baby and kiss my tummy all the time. He's such a sweet little boy and I know he'll be a wonderful big brother!
Keep us in your prayers!

Peyton's Birthday Party
Our good friends, Rich and Holly, have a precious little girl named Peyton who turned one last week. They had a birthday party at the zoo on Saturday for her and it was so much fun! Jack loved eating cake, helping Peyton open presents, riding on the carousel, and swinging on the swings. He is not a big fan of the animals (they are too far to touch or "luva, luva"), but we still managed to find plenty to do!

Fun in the Backyard
The weather has been great lately so we've been spending most of our evenings outside in the backyard. My parents just gave us a new patio table and chairs and we bought Jack a water table that he loves, so it's feeling a bit more homey out there! And Jack loves golfing and doing cartwheels in the lawn!

Jack's Last Day of School
Jack began attending Mother's Day Out (school) at Crossings this year and he just loved it! He talks about his teachers and friends all the time and can never wait for Thursday to roll around. May 23 was the last day of school and they had a little party in their classroom to celebrate the year.
While they do have a summer program, Jack is going to be starting Hickman Music Preschool this summer so he won't be at Crossings again until the fall. I know he'll miss it, but I really think he's going to LOVE music school.
